The
Portland Guitar Society (PGS) will hold its September Monthly Meeting and Open Mic on Sunday, September 21st from 7-9pm at Artichoke Community Music. Doors will open at 6:30pm.
PGS presents a monthly meeting,
free to the public, (donations are welcome) for players and listeners, providing two hours of great guitar music. It’s also a nonprofit membership organization providing a friendly place to meet other players, makers, and teachers, and it’s a great place to discover and share new tunes, techniques, and styles. We welcome all kinds of music and all skill levels, solo players and ensembles. Anyone needing amplification, please bring your own amp. Meetings start with an open mic and often end with a half-hour
