The Lineup:
Ernest Whaley
I would never call myself a guitar player. I am more of a melodic percussionist and lyrical minimalist singing songs I have assisted into being, and striving to capture the essence of an idea in as few sentences as possible. I'm a work in progress. So are these songs. There is always room on this ride for one more. Climb on board, the scenery changes daily.
Illinois Doug & Slide McBride
We'll be doing some classic country and some traditional blues and a little folk.
Dennis "Slide" McBride is a retired auditor who began playing guitar in high school in the 1960s. He played folk music in high school, R&R in college, country music in the Air Force, and bluegrass after that. He was inspired to play dobro from watching the old Flatt & Scruggs TV show from Nashville, with Uncle Josh Graves on dobro.
"Illinois" Doug Tracy is a musician, folklorist, and troubadour. He’s part of a long tradition of entertainers who share encyclopedic collections of American songs with their audiences.

Mars FM
Mars FM blends the cosmic musings and idiosyncrasies of psychedelic rock with the warmth and heart of high desert folk. Zack Bauer [vocals, guitar] and Zoe Larsen [vocals, bass] write from a place of warm-hearted compassion for all creatures on earth, and beyond. Their music reflects their deep love of the natural world, drawing from the endless wonder of old growth forests and open desert. Honey dipped harmonies float atop driving, dynamic guitar, flavored with far out moments, for a sound that nods to the past and bumps knuckles with the uncharted terrain of the future. Listening to Mars FM will nourish your human heart, and spark your curious mind.
