Fairhazel:
Raised in the UK, South Africa & France, Fairhazel has established himself as a musical storyteller who tends to blur the lines between fiction and true story. He’s been inspired by and often compared to the likes of early Harry Nilsson, Ben Howard and Sufjan Stevens. Since the release of his debut EP, ‘Bath With A Friend’, he has received massive editorial support landing him on some of the most coveted playlists like Spotify's Most Beautiful Songs in the World, Lost in the Woods, Fresh Finds Folk, All New Indie and Hot New Bands. After making the decision to leave Los Angeles for a nomadic life on the road playing gigs across the US & UK, he found himself with a burst of new inspiration stemming from the act of letting go of personal possessions and the everyday attachment to a home base. With a portable studio that fit in his backpack, he recorded several new tracks, all in various houses across the world, embracing each environment and its limitations, creating a musical journey that followed his physical journey. Entirely self-produced, mixed and mastered, Fairhazel’s third studio album, ‘Other People’s Houses’, was released in November of 2024. His latest project signifies the start of a more intentional, emotionally driven sonic and lyrical universe. Over the last several months, Fairhazel has been hard at work on his next album which will be out later this fall. In addition to releasing new music, Fairhazel has recently been on the road supporting acts like The Script, Jade Bird, Flyte, Harrison Storm, Nell Mescal and more across the US, UK and Canada.
