Artichoke Music's retail store is a tiny part of what we do but we do it well. We have been doing it for over 40 years. Our store is focused on providing strings, accessories, books and the instruments needed by the students of our music school and our community. Whether you are a beginner, or a regularly performing professional, we are committed to helping you find the tools you need to progress.

We strive to stock the hard to find cds, and a wide range of instructional books and dvds that can help you understand and learn to play. We also offer many services like instrument rental and repair to help you get up and running or back in the swing of things. Stop by the store any time to talk to us in person about what you do and what you want to do musically.

We're here to help!

Like anything in life, if you treat the things you love with respect and care, they will stick around awhile. We at Artichoke can help you take care of your musical instrument with a number of accessories and products to maintain and lengthen its life. But occassionally, if something breaks, and we're here to help. We can make adjustments, replace parts and we'll even change your strings!

Okay, there are some things we can't fix!

Ray Hughes

Ray Hughes has been a professional instrument maker and repair person for over a decade. Throughout the years he has become a certified warranty repair person for a number of major manufacturers of acoustic and electric instruments. Ray offers full service repairs for the Artichoke community, from setups to restorations.
