Do you strum chords and sing your heart out? Want to do a little more? What do you do between lyrics? What do you play when there should be a guitar solo? With just a few tricks, one finger pattern (yes just one) and a little knowledge you can play lead guitar while you keep strumming chords. This helps you play lead guitar on your friend’s songs too. Yes, you!
This workshop is not for the complete beginner. But if you can play songs using open guitar chords & want to explore a little more, this is for you.
This is a drop-in workshop that has been attracting a fun group. We have a great time. You are welcome to drop in anytime you wish.
I’m Adrian Martin and I’ve been playing lead and rhythm guitar for 35 years. I’ve done TV, radio, studio work and live shows from Prague to L.A. and from Dallas to Juneau. I’ve been the opening act for blues icon Lonnie Mack and songwriting legend Warren Zevon. For 19 years I played acoustic lead guitar for Ohio/Kentucky’s infamous Lonesome Strangers. I have a degree in music education from Miami University. Drop in and let’s have some fun.
